IDD elimination is not only a serious health issue; it is also a social and economic issue. IDD elimination can also help break the vicious cycle of poverty by enabling all children, especially those in diadvantaged areas, to reach their intellectual potential for economic and social development. Thus, for the benefit of the prosperity and strength of China, the health development of our children, China Salt Industry will, as always, do our best."
